How Much to Use:
  • Sand Filters: 1½ cups for a typical 24” filter (use an 8 oz cup)
  • Cartridge Filters: 3 cups per 100 sq. ft. of filter area
  • DE Filters: Mix 1 part Filter Enhance with 2 parts DE for optimal results
How to Apply:
  1. Always start with a clean filter.
  2. Mix the recommended amount into a slurry with water.
  3. Slowly pour into the skimmer—1 cup at a time.
  4. Watch your filter pressure gauge; stop adding when you see a 1–2 psi increase.
  5. Filter continuously until you achieve crystal-clear water.
  6. Clean the filter when maximum pressure is reached. Reapply if needed.
